UAAP Free Live Stream, Updates, Team Standings, Schedule and Results. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) was established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. The eight member schools are Adamson University (AdU), Ateneo de Manila University (AdMU), De La Salle University (DLSU), Far Eastern University (FEU), National University (NU), University of the East (UE), University of the Philippines Diliman (UP), and University of Santo Tomas (UST).

A thrilling double-header will tip off the UAAP Season 88 men’s basketball tournament on September 20 and 21 at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.

UAAP Season 88 President Fr. Rodel Cansancio, O.P. announced that defending champions University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons will begin their title defense against the host school, University of Santo Tomas Growling Tigers, on September 21.

On opening day, September 20, the De La Salle University Green Archers will launch their redemption campaign against the Adamson University Falcons.

Also slated for the opening weekend are the matchups between the University of the East Red Warriors and the National University Bulldogs, as well as the clash between the Far Eastern University Tamaraws and the Ateneo de Manila University Blue Eagles. The exact dates of these games are still being finalized.

“The league used the 1 vs. 3, 2 vs. 4, 5 vs. 7, and 6 vs. 8, based on the UAAP Season 88 final rankings, to decide the pair of matches for our opening weekend,” Cansancio told.

He added that the basketball schedule for Season 88 will retain the same format as last season, with games set every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Eleven games are scheduled on Sunday, six at the Adamson University and five at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Seeing action at the Adamson gym are Ateneo against UP (8 a.m.), UE against UST (9:45 a.m.), Adamson against FEU (11:30 a.m.) and La Salle against National University (1:30 p.m.) in the juniors division, and Ateneo against UP (3:30 p.m.) and La Salle against NU (5:30 p.m.) in the women's division.

Playing at the Smart Araneta Coliseum are UE against UST (9 a.m.) and Adamson against FEU (11 a.m.) in the women's division, and UE against UST (1 p.m.), Adamson against FEU (3 p.m.) and La Salle against NU (6:30 p.m.) in the men's division.

Fans and viewers can watch all the men’s and women’s games Live on free-to-air via One Sports on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

All games, including the high school boys basketball, will be broadcast Live exclusively on the UAAP Varsity Channel in high definition and the Pilipinas Live app, including video-on-demand.
