The UP Lady Fighting Maroons is the collegiate varsity volleyball team of the University of the Philippines. The team competes in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), the biggest collegiate volleyball league in the country.
UP Fighting Maroons will rely on the leadership of its remaining veterans as well as the youth and energy of its rookies after the departure of Issa Molde and Tots Carlos. The last time the UP Lady Fighting Maroons hoisted the championship trophy was in Season 45 or during the academic year 1982-1983.
In UAAP Season 84, UP falls short entering the Finals 4. Can the Lady Fighting Maroons finally break the spell in the upcoming UAAP Season 85 and bring home the trophy to Diliman?
