South Korean variety show Running Man has released the teaser for its 587th episode, which will feature Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao.
In the one-minute preview released by Viu Philippines on Tuesday, October 18, the Running Man cast are seen practicing their boxing moves.
“Are you intimidated by Pacquiao?” Kim Jong-kook challenged the other hosts.
The boxer is then seen making his grand entrance amidst the cheers of the cast before jumping straight into the show’s signature name tag-ripping game – and even quickly tearing Yang Se-chan’s name tag.
The preview also teases the cast members fighting the athlete in the boxing ring, with Pacquiao and Kim Jong-kook’s face-off being the most anticipated battle. “He’s cornered! He got hit in the face,” the Running Man members can be heard saying.
The Running Man episode with Pacquiao is also confirmed to air on Sunday, October 23.
Aside from Running Man, Pacquiao will also appear in another South Korean variety show – Knowing Bros.
The athlete-turned-politician is set to do multiple collaborations in South Korea in order to promote his exhibition match with martial artist YouTuber DK Yoo slated for December 11.
