Ponggay Gaston has found a new home in Chery Tiggo to start the year with the team announced on Sunday, Jan. 1.
“Welcome to the team, Pauline “Ponggay” Gaston! What a way to start the year off. We look forward to a thrilling journey ahead with you! 🤩,” the post wrote.
The 5-foot-10 Gaston is leaving Choco Mucho which signed her straight out of the UAAP in 2020.
The Flying Titans had a rough campaign in the 2022 PVL Reinforced Conference following a seventh-place finish.
Meanwhile, the Crossovers suffered the same fate after a bumpy latter part of the tournament where they settled for fourth.
Just a couple of days ago, Chery Tiggo has also parted ways with one of its reliables in Dindin Santiago-Manabat as she eyes an overseas comeback.
With Gaston’s addition to the team, the Crossovers are now looking at the PVL Open Conference, a tournament they dominated in 2021.
