F2 Logistics bolstered its semifinal bid with a 25-23, 25-19, 13-25, 25-22 win over Choco Mucho on Tuesday, March 7 in the 2023 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference at the PhilSports Arena.
Kianna Dy exploded at the attack line as F2 Logistics outhustled Choco Mucho, 25-23, 25-19, 13-25, 25-22, to bolster its semifinal drive in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
The hard-hitting Dy erupted for 19 kills to finish with 23 points for the Cargo Movers, who regained their composure from a third-set loss en route to their fifth victory in seven games.
The triumph not only put F2 Logistics at solo second behind early semifinalist Creamline, but also erased the stigma of a three-set beating from Petro Gazz last week.
Down 17-16 midway the fourth frame, the Cargo Movers pounced on the Flying Titans with attacks on all angles anchored on Cha Behag, Aby Maraño and Majoy Baron to regain the 21-18 upperhand.
Then it was Dy’s turn to torch the net, including a hard smash that sealed the win.
Myla Pablo also waxed hot for F2 Logistics with 15 points including 14 hits, while Maraño added 12 points.
Libero Dawn Macandili also took care of the Cargo Movers’ floor defense with 23 excellent digs.
Choco Mucho absorbed its second straight defeat to slip at 2-4 to put its Final Four bid in peril.
Bea De Leon and Kat Tolentino conspired for 30 kills to finish with 17 and 16 points, respectively, but their efforts weren’t enough to fuel the Flying Titans.
