So when the Angels collide with Army Black Mamba today in the PVL All-Filipino Conference elims at the Filoil EcoOil Center, expect the Reinforced Conference champions to rely on Philips once more in their bid to boost their semis hopes.

In her last two games, Philips scored a total of 37 points including a 13-point effort in a 25-23, 25-13, 25-23 bashing of F2 Logistics at the PhilSports Arena last Thursday.
Philips, however, pointed to team effort as the key. Petro Gazz stands at 3-2.
“I’m really happy we pulled it together,” she said ahead of the 4 p.m. match against Army.
Also seeking to keep its place in the top four is Chery Tiggo (3-2), which tackles Akari (1-4) at 6:30 p.m.
