PLDT has also made its huge move in this off season of the 2023 Premier Volleyball League.
The High Speed Hitters announced on Tuesday, May 30 over its social media pages that they've signed wing spiker Royse Tubino.
"More fire. More power. Just what we needed," wrote PLDT in a post with a graphic of Tubino in High Speed Hitters uniform.
"Veteran outside hitter Royse Tubino joins the High Speed Hitters for the upcoming PVL Invitational Conference! Welcome to the PLDT fam, Royse! Let's go!"
Tubino was one of the bright spots in the 21-game losing of the Philippine Army, which is set to skip the upcoming Invitational Conference set to start on June 29.
The Invitational Conferce of last year was the last time the Army won in PVL.
Tubino is set to deepen PLDT's wing rotation that already has Meanne Mendrez and Jules Samonte.
