JP Yude to lead Adamson Lady Falcons, Bang Pineda named assistant

Former Adamson University men's volleyball player JP Yude will call the shots for the Lady Falcons following the exit of veteran coach Jerry Yee, the school announced Tuesday.

Yee earlier parted ways with the university due to his commitment to lead the newcomer Farm Fresh Foxies in the upcoming Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference.

Yude, who last played for the San Marcelino-based squad in 2019, previously served as head coach of the Adamson Baby Falcons in the girls’ division of the UAAP volleyball tournament.

Under him, the Baby Falcons finished as runners-up to the National University Lady Bullpups in the recently concluded UAAP Season 85.

Yude will be joined by former Lady Falcon standout and Akari Power Chargers libero Bang Pineda and former teammate Leo Miranda as assistant coaches.

The revamped coaching staff will now have the challenge to continue the Adamson Lady Falcons’ Final Four streak after finishing third in Season 85.
