Petro Gazz survived a tight second set to outlast F2 Logistics, 25-22, 27-25, 25-14, for a share of the lead in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference at Sta. Rosa Sports Complex in Laguna Thursday night, Nov. 2.
Ranya Musa and Jonah Sabete conspired for 19 kills to finish with 11 points apiece for the Angels, who clinched their fourth straight victory in as many outings and tied with the Creamline Cool Smashers at the helm.
Petro Gazz tightened its defense on F2 Logistics as it limited its spikers to 28 kills – 14 of which from Jolina Dela Cruz and Ivy Lacsina.
Dela Cruz, however, was the lone double-digit scorer for the Cargo Movers with 13 points as others like Lacsina and Ara Galang were held to eight and six points. Joy Dacoron and Aby Maraño were limited to four and three points, respectively.
F2 Logistics evened its record to 2-2.
