Celine Domingo confessed to not being on good terms with some of her former teammates in the Creamline Cool Smashers during her tenure with the multi-title Premier Volleyball League squad.
In a recent Kumu Live video, the former Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws middle blocker mentioned that she made an effort to maintain professionalism with certain Cool Smashers players, whose identities she chose not to disclose.
“The truth is, I’ve been trying to be professional for so long. I mean, it’s easy for everyone to say that, pero you won’t really understand what I’ve been through unless you’ve experienced this,” Domingo said.
Domingo clarified that the strained relationships were not the reason she wouldn’t return to the Cool Smashers; instead, it was the team management that informed her about not being offered a contract extension.
“December pa lang sinabihan na ako. They called me and told me that they wouldn’t extend my contract anymore. So this was bago ako umuwi ng Pilipinas for holidays,” Domingo said.
Domingo is currently under contract with the Nakhon Ratchasima team in Thailand, and upon her return to the country, she has committed to signing with the Akari Power Chargers.
