NU star Bella Belen headlines 60-aspirant class in 2025 PVL Rookie Draft

Three-time UAAP MVP Bella Belen leads a stacked pool of 60 applicants vying for a spot in the professional ranks through the 2025 PVL Draft.

The PVL officially announced the list of draft hopefuls ahead of the Draft Combine, set for May 30–31 at Paco Arena in Manila. There, the prospects will undergo evaluations by team scouts and coaching staff before the Rookie Draft Ceremony set for June 8 at Novotel Manila, Araneta City.

Topping the draft order is Capital1 Solar Spikers, followed by Galeries Tower Highrisers, Farm Fresh Foxies, and Nxled Chameleons. ZUS Coffee, Cignal, Choco Mucho, Chery Tiggo, PLDT, Akari, Petro Gazz, and Creamline round out the first-round draft order.

The NCAA is also well-represented, led by Season 97 MVP Mycah Go from College of Saint Benilde. Other NCAA hopefuls include players from Arellano University, Letran, EAC, JRU, Lyceum, San Beda, San Sebastian, and Perpetual Help.

International talent will also present, highlighted by 6-foot-1 Fil-Am setter Alohi Robins-Hardy and Tia Andaya of Central Washington University. Five Filipino-Canadian players from schools in Canada and the U.S. also join the mix namely, Yveian Orpiano, Reinali Calisin, Clara Serrano, Divine Cortez, and Mary Ann Rioflorido.

Notably, Rose Joy Pinuela of Olivarez College is the oldest applicant at 40 years old.

The current list of draft applicants is provisional and may still change pending the results of the Combine, qualification reviews, and final document verification. The final list of eligible draftees will be released on June 4.
