Filipino boxer Mark Magsayo has officially signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, the boxing promotion announced on Friday.
The 30-year-old Magsayo, who holds a 28-2 win-loss record in his professional boxing career, signed with the promotion founded by the UFC chief executive officer.
“Magnifico” is coming off four straight wins. He knocked out Isaac Avelar in December 2023 before grinding out a unanimous decision win over Eduardo Ramirez in June 2024.
He then stopped Bryan Mercado in December 2024 and outlasted Jorge Mata in Las Vegas in July last year for the WBC Continental Americas super featherweight title.
And with him signing with Zuffa Boxing, Magsayo will also move up to lightweight.
In a video posted on Facebook, Magsayo said he will be making his debut with the promotion in the main card of Zuffa Boxing 5.
“What's up to all my fans, mostly in the Philippines. I'm Mark Magnifico Magsayo. I'm excited to start with Zuffa Boxing,” he said.
“I'll show you the Magnifico in 135 pounds.”
Magsayo’s opponent is still yet to be announced.
