The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers are back in the gym with some old faces.
With the 2023 PVL season just a few weeks away, some teams have started upgrading their rosters, while some fans, our staff included, have laid down wishlists of roster moves in the PVL.
The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers have yet to make any move, but could these recent social media posts provide a clue?
In her Instagram story, Cargo Movers captain Aby Maraño shared a photo of her with former National University Lady Bullpups head coach Regine Diego. The photo shows what seems to be a training session of the team.
Maraño wrote, “I’m really happy that I get to work with you again, former teammate (coolest senior) to coach. LFG!”
Diego resigned from her NU post back in 2021. Prior to that, she was the national coach for the women's 17-under and 19-under squads.
And it wasn’t just Diego who was spotted in training.
Longtime DLSU photographer Benito Ramon Araneta also posted photos of Cha Cruz in the training of the Cargo Movers. The former F2 captain hasn’t been in action since 2020 after giving birth to her son.
OneSports.ph has reached out to F2 Logistics to confirm if Diego and Cruz are officially joining the team. The Cargo Movers, who failed to advance past the quarterfinals in all of the 2022 season, have yet to provide an official statement as of this writing.
