NU Lady Bulldogs standout Alyssa Solomon is headed to Japan's SV League to play professional volleyball.
Solomon signed with Osaka Marvelous which announced the development in an Instagram post Tuesday.
Solomon's fellow NU great Jaja Santiago, now known as Sachi Minowa, also played for Osaka.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of a new foreign player to the Osaka Marvelous: Alyssa Jae Solomon," the Marvelous wrote.
"Solomon is an opposite player who has represented the Philippines in many international tournaments, and is known for his versatile offensive abilities!
"With Solomon's addition, we will further strengthen our team and strive to win the SV League again!"
After a 4-year UAAP career bannered by three championships and a Season 86 Finals MVP, Solomon played for Alas Pilipinas in multiple international tourneys.
The 6-foot-2 opposite hitter helped lead Alas to a silver medal finish at the AVC Nations and bronze medals at the SEA V.League.
